It's the most wonderful time of the year here in Louisiana! From shouting "throw me something mister!" to indulging in as much king cake as possible, Mardi Gras is a holiday we look forward to every year. We know you probably want to make it to as many parades as possible, so we created this guide to help you out! Have fun, be safe, and most importantly laissez les bons temps rouler!

This parade is a safe, family atmosphere that millions of people have enjoyed over the years. It is also the first parade of the season, so it’s very well attended by the public! For more information, click here.

"On February 23, 2019 we will present our 40th annual parade as we roll down the traditional Metairie parade route on Veterans Memorial Boulevard." For more information, click here

"After 43 years, the Krewe of Isis is the largest and oldest all Female Mardi Gras organization in Jefferson Parish and the oldest consecutively parading traditional Carnival organization in that same parish!" For more information, click here.

Krewe of Argus

Time: 10:00 AM
The arrival of Argus kicks off a day-long procession of parades in Metairie with its procession followed by hundreds of trucks in the Elks Krewe of Jeffersonians parade. For more information, click here.

Krewe of Elks Jeffersonians
Where: Metairie

Time: Following the Krewe of Argus parade
Comprised of 4,000 male and female riders and featuring more than 90 trucks, it is the oldest and largest of the all the truck krewes in Jefferson Parish.
