City Wide Yard Sale
Where: Ponchatoula

"It is that time of year once again. We are now accepting applications to be on the map. Cost to be on the Map is $10.00. Come by the Chamber office and see us. We have the applications and everything ready for you. Call the Chamber office at 985-386-2536."

First Annual PARD Youth Fishing Rodeo
Where: Ponchatoula
When: June 1
Time: 8 AM-4 PM
"The PARD Youth Fishing Rodeo is for children, ages 4-15. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The tournament will be followed by an award ceremony, jambalaya lunch and prize drawing. Children will need to bring their own fishing equipment."

KidZart Summer Art Camp
Where: Hammond Regional Arts Center
When: June 10-13
Time: 10 AM
"We invite kids to become a maker and explore different art techniques as they create with their hands while guided by professional artists in a unique setting. Pre-registration is required and can be completed here."

Strawberry Pageant and Coronation
Where: PHS Auditorium
When: June 15
Time: 7-9:30 PM
"Please join the Strawberry Festival Board as they start off a new year. The board will be crowning a new Strawberry Festival queen, crowning the new king and announcing the Grand Marshal! It only cost 5.00 to get in to see what the new 2020 Strawberry Festival year will bring! Hope to see you there!"

2019 Northshore Heart Walk
Where: Fontainebleau State Park
When: June 1
Time: 8 AM
"Join the American Heart Association for this year’s Northshore Heart Walk and be part of a national movement that’s helping us live longer, stronger, healthier lives. Festivities begin at 8 am and the walk begins at 9 am at Fontainebleau State Park. It’s a free event promoting physical activities and heart-healthy living!"

Bluesberry Festival
Where: Bogue Falaya Park
When: June 8
Time: 10 AM-7 PM
"Bluesberry Festival is a full-day immersive arts experience. The festival will feature both national and regional musical talent on the Westaff Music Stage from 10AM to 7PM, an interactive arts tent, 30+ vendors showcasing their original artwork, an Abita Beer Garden with a variety of locally crafted brews, a food truck roundup, a children's village and more." Sunset at the Landing Concert
Where: Columbia Street Landing
When: June 21
Time: 6-9 PM
"Sunset at the Landing concerts are free, outdoor performances held every third Friday from March to October on Covington's former Columbia Street boat landing, now a permanent performance stage overlooking scenic Bogue Falaya River. Concerts feature regional and touring artists performing jazz, bluegrass, folk, blues and more. All are encouraged to bring refreshments and chairs or blankets for lawn seating. Some bench seating is also available."

Jazz'n the Vines Concert: Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue 
Where: Pontchartrain Vineyards and Winery
When: June 22
Time: 6:30-9 PM
"As this is an outdoor concert, it is recommended that you bring chairs and/or blankets, bug spray, and a flashlight. Local food vendors will be onsite, and picnic baskets are welcome. However, please do not bring outside alcohol; wine is available for purchase in the Tasting Room."

Rock'n the Bayou

Swamp Pop Music Festival

"Our Lady of the Lake Ascension and 100.7 The Tiger’s Swamp Pop Music Fest and BBQ Cook-off, Saturday, June 29th from 3-11pm at Lamar Dixon presented by Bath Fitters. It’s going to be a poppin good time with four of the hottest Swamp Pop Bands in Louisiana- Na Na Sha, Don Rich, Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition, and Mike Broussard & The Night Train. Goat Yoga
Where: Old Rusty Farm in Livingston

Garden Fest

"Garden Fest is a family friendly festival in the middle of Baton Rouge that promotes locally grown foods. Your family will enjoy fresh morning omelets by the Louisiana Egg Commission, famous Bloody Mary samples by Mason's Grill and local food trucks. Activities for kids include water slides, "Touch-a-Tractor" and hayrides! Don’t miss our education sessions to learn more about gardening, nature and environmental programs in the Conference Center to educate people of all ages. There will be vegetable trials and tastings, “Ask the Expert” plant and gardening tent, and a chance to meet amazing local plant and gardening clubs in Baton Rouge." Swollfest Fishing Rodeo
Where: Sand Dollar Marina

"The annual Swollfest Fishing Rodeo captures the heart and soul of South Louisiana, combining love of the outdoors, Gulf Coast fishing, compassion for those in need, and laissez les bons temps rouler, all for the sake of charity. Since 1997, this nonprofit organization holds its annual fishing tournament in Grand Isle, Louisiana, and raises funds to benefit charities serving children and veterans. Grand Isle Music Fest: Party With a Purpose

11th Annual Bubba Dove Fishing Rodeo
Where: Falgout Canal Marina
When: June 1-2
Time: 12 PM
"All proceeds benefit charitable causes aimed at restoring the Gulf Coast, the promotion of education and other important local causes.  Over the past nine years, the Foundation has been able to give more than $250,000 to local charities or to local students through scholarships to support such causes." Bud and Burgers Championship
Where: Southdown Plantation

"4th Annual Sunrise & Houma-Terrebonne Rotary Clubs Bud and Burgers Championship. This event is the fundraiser for the charitable causes that both Rotary Clubs perform throughout the year. Come taste the best burgers around while listening to great music. Think your burger is the best around? Come compete in one of our four categories: Restaurant, Corporate, Backyard Grillers, and the Rotarian only category. Enjoy music by Vintage and Stormy, and beer by Budweiser." Library Camp Out

"Celebrate the first day of summer with our very own camp out in the library. Gather around the “campfire” for songs, stories, and snacks followed by a special camping themed craft.
Come dressed in your pj’s and be sure to bring a blanket."

Cajun Heritage Festival
Where: Larose
When: June 7-9
Time: 9 AM
"A hunter’s dream, the Cajun Heritage Festival showcases a decoy show and live auction, plus carving demos, duck calling contests, Cajun food, vendors and raffles. This festival celebrates the Cajun heritage of Lafourche Parish. Free and open to the public.

Gheens Bon Mange' Festival
Where: Gheens
When: June 7-9
Time: 9 AM
"Bon Mange’ it means good eats, so come on out and enjoy our treats! Held annually on the first full weekend in June, the Gheens Bon Mange' Festival features fresh cooked food made with ingredients mostly harvested from the community, with recipes handed down through the generations. The festival takes place inside the Vacherie-Gheens Community Center, which is air conditioned and out of the weather. There are no admission or parking fees.
This year there will be inflatables and obstacle courses provided by Gatorbounce inflatables. A variety of music including, swamp pop, country and other favorites.
Foods include, gumbo, jambalaya, fried fish, shrimp, griads, white beans, fresh cracklins, and all your festival favorites. Also serving soft drinks, cold beer and our signature Rougarou Brew daiquiri." For more information, click here.

Boogie on the Bayou
Where: Downtown Thibodaux
When: June 28
Time: 6-10 PM
"Boogie on the Bayou is a family-friendly outdoor concert hosted by Thibodaux Main Street, Inc. in Historic Downtown Thibodaux next to the Lafourche Parish Courthouse. Bring the family and enjoy live music by Forgetting Last Friday, food and good times! Admission is free and food and drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) will be available for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring chairs but coolers and outside food/beverage will not be allowed." For more information, click here.
