Louisiana Renaissance Festival
When: Every Weekend
Where: Hammond

Jolly Jingles Market

Where: Pennington Student Activity Center
Time: 9 AM-4 PM
The Junior Auxiliary welcomes you to the fifth annual Jolly Jingles Market, a one day holiday shopping extravaganza! This event serves as our chapter's primary fundraising activity, so ALL proceeds from the market will directly benefit our various community enhancement projects.

Starry November Night
When: November 15
Where: Downtown Hammond

Santa Claus is coming to town and bringing goodies for all the boys and girls of Hammond with him! This event will hold more for families than ever before! The Hammond Downtown Development District will host the 15th annual Starry November Night. Make sure you also take the opportunity to dine at some of the finest restaurants in Downtown Hammond the region and get your holiday shopping done early with incredible sales on unique gift items! The Farmers’ Market will be open with wonderful gifts and goodies for all. Additional information regarding the 15th annual Starry November Night in Downtown Hammond will be available soon.

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday was created in 2010 to promote supporting local businesses. Shop small on November 30 to support your community!

Abita Fall Fest
When: November 2
Where: Abita Springs Trailhead
Time: 11 AM-7 PM
"The non-profit celebration features live music, a wonderful selection of local cuisine and a full day of family-friendly fun for all ages, including a rock-climbing wall, archery, petting zoo, face painting, Home Depot building and Art Bus NOLA. Chairs and blankets are welcome. No outside food or drinks. Certified service animals (ONLY) are allowed on the grounds."

Slidell Jazz and Blues Festival
When: November 2
Where: Heritage Park
Time: 12-8 PM
The mission of the Slidell Jazz and Blues Festival is to promote and support Jazz & Blues in Southeastern Louisiana and the cultural, musical, and artistic enrichment of the Northshore community. Funds generated will support a local program called Notes For Education Northshore, which supports local music education and/or provides music grants or scholarships to local young musicians.

Three Rivers Art Festival
When: November 9-10
Where: Downtown Covington
The historic downtown district of Covington takes art seriously and is home to a number of galleries representing the region’s best artists. So it should come as no surprise that the town’s annual Three Rivers Art Festival, held each November, also is serious enough to carefully jury the 200 artists invited to participate in an event that takes over several city blocks. There’s no admission charge to get into the festival and parking is free, too. November’s often glorious weather and the picturesque, historic buildings of downtown Covington provide a beautiful backdrop for the arts festival that attracts as many as 50,000 visitors each fall. The Three Rivers Art Festival is a great place to find a work of art that speaks to you and to shop for the holidays.

Abita Springs Water Festival
When: November 17
Where: Abita Trailhead
Time: 11 AM-3 PM
"Join the Town of Abita Springs for a celebration of nature on Sunday, November 17, 2019, when multiple events will be taking place at the town's Trailhead, located at 22049 Main St. It's a day of celebrating the element that gives the town its name at Abita's Trailhead, in conjunction with the Abita Springs Art & Farmers Market, and a tree giveway by the Friends Of The Park and Keep Abita Beautiful.
For over a hundred years, people have flocked to Abita Springs to sip its free-flowing, artesian waters. The Abita Springs Water Festival celebrates the water, culture and heritage that flows from one of Louisiana's most unique towns. Parking is free throughout the town."

 

Tammany Turkey Trot & Food Drive
When: November 28
Where: Covington
Time: 8-10 AM
"The fun, family event is also a food drive and fundraiser for the Northshore Food Bank at 840 N. Columbia St. Each runner is asked to bring 3 non-perishable canned food items to help us “pack the pantry” at the Northshore Food Bank. For every 3 items donated you will be entered into a drawing for one of 4 pairs of Running shoes from Varsity Sports Mandeville. The more you donate, the better your chances!"

Ralph's Market Fall Wine Gala
When: November 6
Where: Houmas House and Gardens
Time: 6-8:30 PM
"If you attended the Spring Wine Gala, you know that you don’t want to miss the Fall Wine Gala. Limited to the first 300 guests, so buy your tickets quick. Just like last time the Gala will be held at the beautiful Houmas House and Gardens. There will be all your favorite Rose Wines and a large selection of new wines. Guests have the chance to win prizes included a European Vacation. This event will have great food and live music outside on the front lawn at Houmas House. In the event of inclement weather, the event will move inside. Tickets will be on sale at both Ralph’s locations and online."

Mistletoe Market

Greater Baton Rouge State Fair
When: November 1-23
Where: Airline Highway Park/Fairgrounds
Time: 5-10 PM
A huge Carnival Midway (40+Rides), with great festival food and musical entertainment nightly (gospel, rock, bluegrass, country, blues, zydeco). Visitors will enjoy strolling clowns and a magician. Kids of all ages can pet farm animals and learn lessons about agriculture in AG-Venture Land including how to milk a cow!

Capitol City Beer Fest
When: November 3
Where: Lafayette Park
Time: 1-4 PM
Come out and drink beer while supporting Companion Animal Alliance, our local animal shelter. Receive a 2 oz. sampling glass and access to unlimited samplings of specialty beers from around the world! We are dog-friendly! Come enjoy the beautiful outdoors with live music provided by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge’s Sunday in the Park. VIP entrance opens  at 12:30 pm. Baton Rouge Arts Market

The Arts Market provides entrepreneurial opportunities to local artists, while fostering creative community relationships by allowing artists to sell directly to the public. Stroll through our Baton Rouge Arts Market and find a variety of hand-made arts including: pottery, cast & blown glass, jewelry, metal sculpture, hand-bound books, hand-made soaps, mixed media, hand-made garments, furniture, wood carvings, hand-painted silks, mosaics, hand-woven baskets, photography, and more!

Sip & Stroll Downtown

The Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA) Greater Baton Rouge Chapter is delighted to host its “Sip and Stroll Downtown,” presented by Hancock Whitney, on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019. The event will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m.at The Trademark on Third, 326 Third Street and The Loft at Cecelia, 421 N. Third Street in downtown Baton Rouge. VIP attendees will kick off their evening with champagne and sushi at Tsunami, 100 Lafayette St. at 5:30 p.m.

New Orleans Nightmare Haunted House

Pet Fest

The party "Where Pets Bring their People" features a Pet Adopt-A-Thon with 40 Shelter/Rescue groups offering over 400 adoptable pets, a Pet Health Watch area, FREE pet costume contest with amazing prizes, Pet Marketplace, delicious local cuisine, great music and much more. Hundreds of adoptive pets have found homes at Pet Fest!

Pecan Festival

TFAE Fundraiser- Purses and Promises
When: November 1
Where: Courtyard Marriot in Houma
Time: 5-10 PM
Enjoy wine, appetizers, and trendy and designer purses for sale and auction. Tickets are $55 and will sponsor a local child in the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program for one year.

Cajun Fly-In Festival and Car Show
When: November 2
Where: Houma-Terrebonne Airport
Time: 9 AM-3 PM
Come "pass a good time" at the airport on the bayou. A day of Family Fun and Excitement for Everyone! So many things to see, hear, eat, and enjoy!! Live music by LowDown, great cajun food, airplanes, jets, helicopters, rotorcraft, light aircraft, hot rods, classic and antiques cars, police and fire equipment, local artists, displays, and guest speakers on aviation topics. Bayou Beer Festival

Where: Southdown Plantation
Time: 11 AM-4 PM

Bayou Road Balloon Festival
When: Novmeber 1-3
Where: Sidney D. Torres Park
Time: Varies
The 3rd annual Bayou Road Balloon Festival will be held on, November 1-3, 2019. Located in the oaks of Sidney D. Torres Memorial Park, the festival will feature multiple hot air balloons creating a spectacular "night glow" each evening (weather permitting). The stage and festival grounds will be packed with local musicians and artists showcasing the vibrant communities of St. Bernard Parish. Tethered balloon rides, kite demos, carnival rides, a midway, and local food & beer booths make this a can't miss event! For more information, click here.

Tour Da Parish
When: November 2
Time: 7 AM-12 PM
Join the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce as we host the 5th Annual Tour da Parish. This non-competitive event will take place on the scenic byways of lower St. Bernard Parish. Enjoy a true "down the road" experience, cycling past the bayou and marsh that St. Bernard calls home. The event will take place from 7:00am-12:00pm. The event will feature a 59 mile, 35 mile, 16 mile, and a 10 mile bike ride.

Veterans Day Parade
When: November 11
Where: Chalmette

Veterans Day Parade Sunday November 11th starting at 9:30am. The St. Bernard Veterans Day Parade will start at 9:30am on Old Hickory and end at Frederick Sigur Center. Big Boy's Main Street Cookoff
When: November 8
Where: Downtown Thibodaux
Flocked with locals and visitors alike, Big Boy’s Main Street Cook-Off is a culinary showcase of Cajun cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients found along the bayou. In a two block area of Historic Downtown Thibodaux, Big Boy’s takes place each year as the kick-off event of the Thibodeauxville Fall Festival weekend. This year it’s bigger and better than ever with 30+ teams cooking up dishes like shrimp & grits, jambalaya boulettes and charbroiled oysters…it’s one of the bayou’s best kept secrets!Big Boy’s Main Street Cook-Off is Friday, November 8, 2019 in Historic Downtown Thibodaux. Admission is $10 and includes samples from cook-off participants. Gates open at 3:00 PM and cook-off participants will begin serving at 6:00 PM. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Thibodeauxville Fall Festival

Where: Downtown Thibodaux

Explore historic Downtown Thibodaux at this festival featuring dozens of arts and crafts booths, live music, food court, and a rubber duck race on Bayou Lafourche.
